If you are looking for a child's aquarium or aquarium information for children, you've come to the right place. We have written information on The Nitrogen Cycle for children and a glossary written so your child can understand it. When children want to become an aquarist at an early age, it is very important that they understand the aquarium cycles in order to properly maintain their fish tanks. Their fish will become their little pets and they will be responsible for taking care of them and making sure their environment is safe for them. We have also included information written for children on the different kinds of filtration which is probably one of the most important elements on fish keeping. We will be constantly updating this page with new and useful information to help our children learn this very rewarding and satisfying hobby. |

This page is dedicated to our children. Helping a child learn the wonders of nature and teaching them how to handle and maintain a living creature will be one of the most rewarding experiences you will ever have. Sure, you can get them a puppy or a kitten, but fish keeping will advance his or her knowledge of the scientific world as well. If you, as a parent, are also an aquarist, you know how delicate the balance of life is in the aquatic world. Why not allow your child to have his or her own aquarium so that they can also experience this challenging hobby on their own (under your watchful eye, of course).
WARNING: If you, as an adult, are not currently a fishkeeper, this hobby can be extremely addictive! Please take proper precautions not to become too involved!
